The Sauta sutra contain direction for performing yajna. Some of the Vedic yajna are: agnihotra, Darsapaurnamasya, Chaturmasya, Pasuyaga, Aswamedha, Rajasuya, Vajapeya. Most of them are Social worship with lot of communities coming together to perform the sacrifices. Sauta Sutra gives strict guideline on how to perform the Yajna.
