Saptharshis Manus Indras and Gods in various Manvataras
A Brahma Kalpa (cycle), or a day of Brahma consisting of a period of fourteen manvantaras, together with the period intervening between two Manus the total period is equal to 1,000 mahayugas, or 4,320,000,000 solar Years. In the present kalpa six manvantaras have passed. We are now in 7th Manvantara. There will be seven more manvantaras in the future. Thereafter, the world will be destroyed. Each manvantara has its own Saptharshi, Manu, Indra, Gods and other custodians of power.
1st Manvantara
Saptharshi: Gautama and Bharadvāja, Viśvāmitra and Jamadagni, Vashiṣṭa and Kasyapa, and Atri
Manu: Svayambhuva Manu
Indra: Yajna

2nd Manvantara
Saptharshi: Urjja, Stamba, prana, Dambholi, Vrishabha, Timira and Arvarivana
Manu: Svarochisha Manu
Indra: Vipashchita
Gods: Paravatas and Tushitas
3rd Manvantara
Saptharshi: Rajah, Gotra, Urddhavahu, Savana, Anagha, Sutapa and Shukra
Manu: Uttama Manu
Indra: Sushanti
Gods: Sudhamas, Stayas, Shivas, Pratardanas and Vashavartis
4th Manvantara
Saptharshi: Jyotirdhama, Prithu, Kavya, Chaitra, Agni, Varuna and Pivara.
Manu: Tamasa Manu

Gods: Suravas, Haris, Satyas and Sudhas
5th Manvantara
Saptharshi: Hiranyaroma, Vedashri, Urddhavahu, Vedavahu, Suvahu Suparjanya and Mahamuni
