Varuna is an important Vedic God. Varuna is always eulogized alone with another God Mitra. Varuna is the God of water bodies according to Puranas.

Varuna is the master of infinities who can’t tolerate restrictive thinking or actions. Only he can cut the three bonds which restrict the three aspects of every human being, the physical, vital and mental.
