Basukarna Basura Is the Rishi of Rigveda hymns 10:65 and 66. He was son of Rishi Basukra who wrote few Rig Veda suktas. He was also said to be a son of Indra. His mother Indrasnusha is the Rishi of Rig Veda mantra (10:28:1). His brother Vasukrit is the Rishi of Rig_Veda suktas (10:20-26)

Some modern writers spell him as Basukarna

The Sukta is for propitiating Viswadevah, all the devas.
