Grandson of king Sagara. King Sagara sent Amshuman to retrieve the stolen aswamedha horse. Amsuman found the horse stolen by Indra in Kapila’s ashram. Kapiladeva returned the horse and told Anshumaan that the 60001 sons of King Sagar could be brought back to life if the Ganges descended to earth.
