Vastu Sastra is the science of dwelling. Many Agama and Purana have contents of Vastu. There are few other and independent texts on Vastu in Sanskrit and local languages. The Silpa Prakasa by Ramacandra Bhattaraka Kaulacara and Brihatsamhita are some authentic text. It is an ancient wisdom on the construction of city, temple and home. The ancient temples and harappan civilization followed vastu sastra gives the antiquity of the science.
