Agnihotra is a daily yajna for Hindus since Vedic Age. It can be completed in 20 minutes where Cow dung is burned in fire altar while chanting Vedic mantras. The internal aspect of the yajna like Sankalpa, Dharana and Dhyana are more relevant in this Yajna

All the Mantras used in Agnihotra are from Veda.

Purana

There are many incidences in Purana and Itihasa for people practicing Agnihotra as a daily ritual. Sree Rama and Sree Krishna did this yajna without any omission.
