Kusa and Lava are the two sons of Sita and Rama

Kusa is also a varieties of sacred grass used in many religious rites. Because of its insulating qualities, both physical and metaphysical, it is recommended as a seat for meditation, and as mats for sleeping (it keeps the sleeper warm)
