A great devotee of Sri Krishna. Akrura bought Balarama and Krishna to Madhura at the behest of Kamsa.

Veda

Akrura was Vrishni with Svaphalka as his father and Naudini, daughter of the King of Kashi as his mother. It was because of Akrura, a close relatives presence that Nandagopar did not hesitated to sent his children to Madhura alone.
