Vaishno Devi temple is a Himalayan cave temple in Jammu. It is dedicated to Ma Durga in her three important aspects Mahesaraswati, Mahalakshmi and Mahakali. The 30 meter long natural cave is in Trikuta mountain 12 KM away from Katra, the base camp for the Temple. Katra, a small town which accommodate the pilgrim to the temple is 48 KM away from Jammu.

During Navaratri period (September/October) Satacandiyaga is performed and which form the main celebration.
