Bhasya is an elaborate explanatory commentary on a difficult original text like Sutra. The personnel view of bhasyakaran is also expressed in Bhasya.

The best example is Sankara, Madva and Ramanuja’s Bhasya on Brahmasutra. Each work is very different and diverse with arguments in favor of their different philosophical ideas.
