Two edited version of text is available and both of them are called Laghu Harita Smriti. The first one contains seven chapters and 250 verses. The main content of this work deals with four Ashrama, four Varna and Yoga. The second version has only 117 verses. The main content of this work deals with Suddhis(purificatory ceremonies), Prayaschitta (expiatory rites), Asauca(ceremonial impurity conncted with death, birth), Sraddhas (after death rites) and also rules about inheritance and partition of property.
