Darshana include Hindu Religion and philosophy. Unlike Europe the Religion in Indian subcontinent do not discriminate philosophy with Religion. Indian is broadly divided into astika and nastika systems of thought. Astika systems of thought consider Vedas as a basic source of knowledge. The shadarshanas ( vedangas or six schools of thought) are part of astika systems. Nastika Darshanas do not accept the authority of the Vedas. They are Charvaka , Jaina and Bauddha
