Ramachandra Rao S K Prof
Prof. S K Ramachandra Rao (1925-2006) was an academician and an eminent scholar in Hindu and Buddhist literature, Sanskrit, Psychology, Musicology, and Iconography. He taught at NIMHANS Bangalore, Bangalore University, National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore and associated with many other academic centers in India and abroad. He was awarded with the titles Vidyalankara, Sangita Kalaratna, Vachaspatic and had received the Veda Ratna Samman from the Swami Gangeshwaranandaji Trust, Mumbai.
His translation and a study on Rig Veda is published in 17 volumes. He had authored another 150 books in English and Kannada together.
He studied the Agama Texts in details and came out with a voluminous work
