Lakshmidasa

lakṣmīdāsa
A Sanskrit poet of Kerala origin and the author of Sukasandesa. It is a sandesa kavya like Meghasandesha of Kalidasa.
Lakshmidasa was born in the former state of Cochin in Karirigampilly Mana
It is believed that Sukasandesa was written in 112 Malayalam Era (666 CE). But the famous scholar and poet Ullur S Parameswara Iyer states with authority that it was written in the 10th or 1 1th century CE
