Another name for a Sanyasin. All the different types of yoga like Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga are intended to effect a reorientation or perfection of man. So in broad sense, yogi is one who pursue spiritual practices to achieve Moksha . The root word ‘yuj’ means union. So yogi is one who is always in union with the Supreme spirit
