In General

Tree is a representation of life. It grows and brings fruit. when it is considered as the yogic emblem of the manifested world, it is sometimes said as an evil in the path of spirituality.

Veda

:

According to U. discipline one must cut the root of the tree with vyraghya to concentrate fully on spiritual path and gain liberation from samsara (Moksha).

To quote Nilarudra U. 3rd verse: “this that cometh is he that destroyeth evil, Rudra the terrible, born of tree that dwelleth in the waters; let the globe of storm winds come too, that distroyeth for thee all things of evil omen”.
