Adhyatma
अध्यात्म
adhyātma
Above the non-material powers, containing them, and greater than them is the Atmam. Everything that has to do with the highest existence in us as Atman is called the Adhyatma, the spiritual being. Adyatma is the dwelling spirit, the spiritual being God within. In another sense we can say Adhyatma is the inward perceiving, seeing consciousness; lodged with the individuality of the seer. Subala Upanishad says Bhudhi(intellect), chita(mind), Ahankara(egoism), Vak(speech) are all adhyatma and that which acted upon chita, bhudhi, vak(speech)all are Adhibhuta.
