In General

Prajna related to state of consciousness of Jiva, the individual soul. The Jivatma or individual soul functioning in the waking state (Visva)is called Vaisanara. The Jivatma or individual soul functioning even in the dream state (svapna) is called Taijasa. Prajna is the knower of Vaisanara and Taijasa state and it work in deep sleep(dhyana) state. The Jivatama is a single entity but have three different experience in these three states.
