A festival in North India especially Ganga plain to celebrate the victory of Sri Rama against Ravana. Effigy of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghanada were burned during the festival which come during Navarathri day of Dasara festival. In Kasi and its suburban area the story of Ramacharita manasa is enacted by experienced traditional artists.
