(1534-1581 CE)Guru Ramdas was the fourth of the ten Sikh Gurus. He was a follower of Guru Amardas, the third guru of Sikh. Guru Amarnath anointed him as the fourth Guru. Guru Ramadas was a great poet who contributed 638 hymns to Guru Grandh Sahib in 30 different ragas. The large pool in the Amritsar Golden Temple is his contribution. He also established 22 Manjis (preaching centres) for spreading the message of Sikh Gurus.
