The Bhagavad Gita which is popularly known as Gita is a philosophical discourse that took place between Sri Krishna and his student Arjuna and the dialogue forms a very important scripture for the followers of Hinduism. The lofty wisdom of Sri Krishna is very brilliantly expressed in the Bhagavad Gita than in any other text. These 700 verses are taken from the Bheshmaparva of the epic Mahabharata. The Gita is famous for its integrated nature as all the different spiritual paths in Hinduism finds a respectable place in the philosophical doctrine of this holy Text. Bhagavad Gita is analytical is finding the psychological development as three gunas in man Sattva, Raja and Tama.
