A 15th century work(1427CE) on Thanthra (Temple construction and Pooja vidhi) by Chonnas Manakkal Narayanan Namboothrippad. He was a court poet of Malayali King Samuthiripad. The work is in Sanskrit and its interpretation and explation works are also available. This is the main tanthrik text that Kerala temples and Nambhoothiri Brahmins follows.

The methodology to follow in puja of Siva, Vishnu, Durga, ganapathi, Subrahmanya, Sankaranarayana, Sasthavu are discussed in this text. Apart from daily worship of the deities, topics such as temple construction, land selection and preparation, consecration of deities, and related topics like diksha, nyasam, bhuthashidhi, pranaprathishta, dhyanam, manthrajapam, and homam are also discussed.
