Sadachar means good conduct, morality, or virtuous behavior. It refers to acting in a way that is considered right, moral, and virtuous, based on traditional and philosophical principles.
The literal meaning is "good" (sada) and "conduct" or "character" (charam).
Manusmrithi (2.18) definition:
तस्मिन् देशे य आचारः पारम्पर्यक्रमागतः ।
वर्णानां सान्तरालानां स सदाचार उच्यते ॥ १८ ॥
That practice, which has come down through an unbroken line of tradition among the several castes and subcastes in the society, is called the ‘Practice of Good Men.’
