Rayiranallur is a small villege near Valancheri in north Kerala. A padayathra to the hill shrine on the first day of Malayalam month Thulam is considered as very auspicious. The hill famous for the mystic sage Naranathu Branthan. The Sage Naranathu Branthan is one among the Pantherukulam or sons of Sage Vararuchi. The sage got vision of Mother goddess in this hill top.
