In General

The Upanishads uses the word vidya as a technique to do spiritual Sadana. It is meditation and also all other faculties like memorizing, wishing, understanding, aspiring, contemplating and physical activities like developing personality. The technique help the Sadhaka to finally evolve into a supra physical spiritual life

Veda

This Vidya occurs in the Taittiriyopanishad, third chapter, namely Brigu valli.

He realized that Bliss is Brahman. From Bliss, indeed, are all beings born, in Bliss, when born, they live, into Bliss, in the end, they enter.

Whoever transcends the five Kosas and realizes that Bliss is Brahman gets established in Brahman. He becomes great in splendor, great in Knowledge great in fame, one who knows this.

This Vidya aims at the innermost seat of Bliss, on a small part of which other creatures are living.
