Five sacred fires.
A sadhana by which four fires are kindled in the four cardinal directions and meditation is done from dawn till dusk seated in their midst, the sun being the fifth fire is called Panchagnitapa
The CdU gives the interpretation that Panchagni vidya has nothing to do with physical fire but five stages of life.
