Bilhana (11th Certury, CE ) was a Sanskrit poet. He is known for his love poem, the Charupanchashika

Vikramanka Deva Charitam was his another work. It is an interesting historical Kavya. Though Bilhana was born and brought up in Kashmir, he came to the south and became the court poet of Chalukya king Vikramaditya of Kalyan. Vikramanka Deva Charita describe King Vikrama’s life in 17 cantos.
