Ila is the direct revealing vision of knowledge. Ila, the goddess endow with the spiritual aspirant the power to stay in knowledge which is otherwise spontaneous and short.
Ila was daughter of famous Vishnu devotee Dhruva in his wife Bhrami, the daughter of Sisumara a Prajapati. Utkala was son of Ila.
