Bindu
बिन्दू
bindu
The infinitesimally small element is called Bindu. Bindu is opposite of Infinite. Just like Infinite is an attribute of the Absolute Brahman, the Bindu is also an attribute of the Brahman.
Many Upanishads like Amrutha bindu Upanishad, Nada bindu Upanishad, Thejo bindu Upanishad carry the name Bindu; this itself show the philosophical value of Bindu.
