Nama Rupa Karma
नाम रूप कर्म
nāma rūpa karma
The Universe is illustrated and consists of Nama Rupa Karma (Name Form and Action) and is an evolution from Brahman, the Absolute Truth. Here the word Nama represent Idea, the subjective world (Pindanda) and form represent the objective world (Brahmanda). The word adhyatma and adhidaiva corresponds to Pindanda and Brahmanda respectively.
There is only one reality behind all multiplicity. But god is worshiped with various name and forms to accommodate the multiplicity in the world. The very nature of Prakriti is variety. There is no uniqueness in the objective world. In the absolute level everything converges into one.
The concept of Harihara and Ardhanariswara is to show to the devotees that all gods are reflection of same Truth.
