Simhika (also called Angarka) was a Rakshasi who lived in the shallow sea between the Indian mainland and Lanka. She learned the art of bringing the shadow towards her and feeds on the object of the shadow. When Hanuman jumped from the mountain of Mahendra to Lanka, the Rakshasi attracted Hanuman to her. Hanuman increased his size and somehow escaped from her mouth. Thereafter in a terrible fight she was defeated and Hanuman resumed his journey.

Purana

Kashyapa married Surasa, an Asura women and in the wedlock two daughters, Angaraka (Simhika) and Ajamukhl, and four sons, called Surapadma, Sirhhavaktra, Tarakasura and Gomukha were born. So, Simhika is sister of Tarakasura.
